In the First and Emergency Aid Program; ambulance and emergency care technicians who apply emergency care outside the hospital at a professional level are trained. This care begins with the emergency incident, continues during transportation and ends after the patient is transferred to a unit with medical facilities. Approximately 50% of accident-related deaths in our country occur during transportation. On the other hand, there are significant deficiencies in the emergency aid services to be provided in all accidents. These deficiencies can be eliminated by technical personnel who have theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to provide the service.
