Program Profile

The aim of the program is to train students with high medical knowledge and skills in medical foot care and foot health protection by referring them to the relevant specialist when necessary for diagnosis of foot health problems and by working in collaboration with physicians. Students who complete the associate degree program are given courses that include basic theoretical information about podology as well as pre-clinical subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical microbiology during their education. In addition, students are given theoretical courses such as physical therapy and rehabilitation, diabetes and foot orthopedics as well as practical courses for 4 semesters. Students who complete the podology program are entitled to receive the title of Podiatrist.
