As part of the GNC900 Volunteer Work course, coordinated by Lecturer Süeda KARADENİZ, students from the Ahmet Erdoğan Health Services Vocational School's Elderly Care Program held a meaningful volunteer event at Karadeniz Tea House in the İncivez neighborhood to strengthen intergenerational solidarity. During the event, students gathered with elderly residents of the neighborhood for a conversation and sharing session. Accompanied by healthcare personnel and students, the students measured the oxygen saturation and pulse rates of the elderly individuals. During the measurements, the elderly individuals were informed about the procedures, and the results were shared with them. After gathering information about their health and informing the elderly, a conversation environment was created with the participants over tea, encouraging the elderly individuals to share their life experiences.
