Fourth-Grade Students Wrote Letters to Their Families

On December 1, 2025, students from our Vocational School's Pathology Laboratory Techniques Program, under the coordination of Lecturer Şeyda KAYA, carried out a meaningful event at Zonguldak Kozlu Attila Elementary School as part of their Volunteer Work course. The purpose of the event was to support children in expressing their feelings and thoughts in writing and to strengthen their emotional bonds with their families.

The event began with a short presentation on the importance of communication with family. Following the presentation, students were informed about the culture of letter writing and expressing feelings and thoughts in writing, and then moved on to the practical part.

Fourth-grade students at Kozlu Attila Elementary School freely expressed their feelings, thoughts, and dreams in letters they prepared for their families. Students created letters in their own style, writing text, drawing pictures, or adding poems as they wished. Supported by colorful letter paper and envelopes, the activity provided both a fun and educational environment.

At the end of the activity, the prepared letters were collected with the help of teachers and delivered to the families. This contributed to the development of the students' written expression skills and strengthened communication with their families.
