Under the coordination of Lecturer Ph.D. Ayşe TORAMAN KARAGÜLMEZ from the Podology Program, an educational session titled “Healthy Living with Diabetes” was conducted by Specialist Diabetes Nurse Safiye Çatalçam on December 5, 2025, between 14:00-14:45, at Zonguldak Central Nursing Home.

The event emphasized that healthy living with diabetes is possible, aimed to increase the knowledge level of older adults regarding diabetes management, and contributed to helping them maintain their daily lives in a healthier way.

In addition, older adults residing in the nursing home were individually attended by Podology program students for foot examinations. Identified foot problems were explained to each individual one-on-one, and they were invited to our Podology clinic for further evaluation and solutions.
