Hosted by our university, a leading institution in the field of podiatry, and organized under the coordination of Lecturer Dr. Ayşe TORAMAN KARAGÜLMEZ within Ahmet Erdoğan Vocational School of Health Services, the “FOOTPRINT 2025 Event” was held on 26 November 2025 between 12:30–13:30 at the Safiye Hüseyin Elbi Conference Hall for students of the Podiatry program.

The event was attended by Certified Diabetes Nurse Safiye ÇATALÇAM, Diabetes Nurse Ebru BOZ UZALDİ, Podologist Seval SARUHAN, Podologist İrem KÜÇÜK, esteemed faculty members, and our Podiatry students.

The event takes its name from our footprint, which—just like a fingerprint—is unique and specific to each individual. During the event, professional development was supported through knowledge sharing between our Podiatry program students and our graduate Podologist İrem KÜÇÜK, once again emphasizing the importance of Podiatry. In this context, a symbolic handover ceremony of monofilaments and insoles from our second-year students to our first-year students was conducted. The event concluded with artistic performances prepared by our students, including a theater play and a musical performance.
