Purpose
The importance of foot health and care is increasing. It aims to train health technicians who have the necessary knowledge and skills to protect foot health and prevent possible diseases, who can work in collaboration with physicians. To train Podiatrists who work as part of the rehabilitation team in increasing the quality of life of individuals and reintegrating them into society by applying a specially prepared treatment protocol to patients with foot and lower extremity problems, who have ethical responsibilities, follow scientific developments, and use the necessary treatment tools and equipment effectively and appropriately.

Advanced age and increasing metabolic diseases cause an increase in foot problems and cause the need for foot health to increase even more. A multidisciplinary approach is extremely important in the protection and improvement of foot health. The success of this approach also depends on the application being carried out by well-trained auxiliary health personnel.
